Welcome. My name is Amanda Horein. I'm a lifestyle portrait photographer. I photograph many different phases of life including maternity, birth, childhood, and families but my passion is in making women feel beautiful with boudoir portraits, usually given as a special gift to their significant others.
My love for photography began early . When I was a teenager I used to set up my bedroom to look like a studio and practice taking photos of my friends with my mother's standard 35mm, "over the counter" camera.
After becoming a mother I fell into the same mindset that most mothers do. I wanted to capture every moment of my children's lives, then the time came when I decided that instead of taking them to one of the chain department store studios, I would go ahead and do their spring pictures in our front yard. We had these beautiful bushes that had the prettiest yellow flowers on them that made for the most lovely background.
There has been no turning back from there.
